Today started out really bad, but got really awesome. I wanted to take back my broken MP3 Player and get my $90 back, so that I could go out and restock on art supplies. But then I was looking at the warranty and they'd only give me store credit. And even worse, I had to spend the store credit all at once, and needless to say $90 at a (pretty much) second hand store (XS Cargo) is nearly impossible. But I went with my mom and got a bunch of stuff, that really worked out well.

Here's a list:

A set of modern-style dishes (plates, saucers, bowls and mugs.) PRETTY. ($5.)

A ripoff of an 18th century-looking mirror. ($12.99)

Various delicious smelling candles.

Those cheese cutter things...y'know with the little blade? ($3.99)

A set of 10 really cute glasses with circles on them. ($9.99)

A new travel mug...WITH A HANDLE OMG. ($3.89)

A silver picture frame. Again 18th century looking. ($6.99)

Glue. Cause yesterday I made the materials of a collage stick down with more paint. Not such a good idea. It's not holding up so well. (2 x $0.49)

Yeah. That's pretty much it. And some things for my mom. Tomorrow I'm going to go out and buy canvases (my grandma gave me some money for a grad present that I'm saving for a prom dress. Since my mom is going to pay me back for the stuff at XS Cargo, I can buy canvases and paint like the dickens. THE DICKENS.)

Oh yeah. And boycott Wal-Mart. Seriously. I watched this documentary on the chinese factories that Wal-Mart mainly orders from and it's horrible. They not only beat them and make them work 17 hour days, but they pay them, like, half a penny per pair of jeans that they make, which works out to like 1/100 of a penny an hour. It's ridiculous. If you can afford it, boycott buying things from China. Or do it as little as you can. This makes the official boycott list at:

A Buck or Two (But only in Canwest, because they're douches. Go to Crazy 8's. They're cheaper anyways.)

Wal-Mart.

Fairway in Canwest Mall. (They treat their employees like crap, and everything is really overpriced and bad quality.)

That's pretty much it. Oh and my lack of planning has lead to the cancellation of the 30 hr famine at my house. Maybe I'll try to do one again...I'll have to go to the website and see if that's possible. Probably. Everyone's just too poor and busy to do it.

And I should go to the gym. I'm not at a very healthy moment, and need to gain some muscle mass, I think. This whole "now I weigh 113 pounds" is scaring me a little bit. I just ate a big bag of cheetos.

Anyways, this is the longest post. I hope you guys are all up to date. And friggin post more. Like, c'mon.

boycotting wal-mart (and various other t, cheetos, post more jerks, cancellation of the 30 hr famine, going to gym seriously, shopping bargins, the dickens
