Andrew is a wonderful boy! I heard about The Sultan's Elephant a few days ago, & was rather intrigued. It all seemed a bit hush-hush (as much as a 40 ft heigh mechanical elephant can be I suppose) & I wasn't really sure what it was (if it was supremely cool, or really shite), so I texted Andrew asking if he was going to see it at the weekend & whether he'd be kind enough to take some photos of its glory if he happened to be around. I got a text from him yesterday afternoon, asking if I could find out on the internet where the elephant may be hiding as he was there especially to take some photos for me. We spoke on the phone for a while, as the Jesus Man at Piccadilly rambled on in the background & we laughed at silly things.

In return (although I've been planning this for ages, I suppose seeing as he'll get it in a few weeks time, it is) I'm making him something wonderful, which I'm sure he'll love! It's a surprise so keep quiet if you know!

Spent yesterday messing around with our giant Boost bar & adding more layers of chocolate in order to smooth it out & writing our witty commentary. Kirsty went home on Saturday, so her room is now empty allowing me to move my stuff in. For those who don't know in our uni house we have two very small rooms (which Nikki & I have had this year) & two much larger rooms (that Kirsty & Rose have been in) & next year we're swapping over (although Rose is actually leaving, so we'll have one spare small room unless the letting agency find us another person). On Nikki's suggestion, I started moving a few things downstairs that I won't be taking home with me over the summer, like posters, books & other niknaks. I'm probably going to Argos later to pick up a bookcase & put it together with my tools!

It's strange to think I'll be home by this time next week.
