(no subject)
Andrew & I have bought Jack an old-skool Mr Frosty for his birthday, from ebay. It wasn't very expensive & only ended up arriving today (three days after his birthday, nevermind!) but when I opened the package something seemed to be amiss. Called Andrew, moaning down the phone at him "Mr Frosty's arrived & he smells like wee!". Seriously, I took off Frosty's little hat & inside it smells as though someone has been using yellow snow to make slushy delights. The box was battered, damp in one corner (piss?!) & had sellotape marks all over. Yuck.
I left him for a good soak in fairy liquid & bleach while I watched Neighbours & then gave him a good scrub with Jif lemon, so hopefully he'll be fully operational soon, rather than rancid. To top it off, the seller had written on the ebay print-out he'd enclosed "If you have any problems email me, otherwise please leave positive feedback". What does he suggest? Sending him an email to ask why the toy smells of piss & what has he been doing to it?! Grimmmm!
Now need to find a reasonable sized box to put old Mr F into & wrap him up. This evening I'm off for a curry with the 'droid at The Balti House & then ADH have a gig at Bocking Village Hall (of all places!). Very much looking forward to getting out of the house after a week of almost solid revision. I'm going out of my mind!
