It's so sad...I've been commenting like a mad-woman on other people's LJs about my feelings on the film but I haven't actually said anything in my OWN LJ. *tsk tsk*
Erm...well I can safely say I thoroughly enjoyed it. Yes, despite some cut-outs, it was very very well done. I think I would've liked to have seen Dudley's tongue grow four feet long and Petunia freaking out trying to pull the damn thing out...and then of course Fred and George's satisfaction. But they did a brilliant job anyways without it.
Dear Cedric...aww he was lovely! I can almost compare the tragedy of his death to Kurt Cobain's (if anyone knows me well enough, they know I pine after Kurt...despite the small issue of his death...it's only minor anyways, he's still hot) and so's Cedric. :P My eyes watered when Harry cried in anguish over Cedric's body...that was so so so sad. And it's reminded me about why I'm such an angst fan. Beautiful and touching.
OMG! It WAS slashy! XD I only was reminded today of the subtle slashyness with Cedric and Harry, and possibly Ron and Viktor. Lol, I was amused to say the least and squeeaful.
And to top it off, I saw it twice within like two days....I didn't quite expect that but I'm sure as hell not complaining. I LOVED the part where Harry ate the gillyweed and sort of fell/jumped in the water...very very cool. Or maybe I just simply like the idea of a person having fins and gills. Teh cool.
Oh and opening night, I wore Slytherin colours...just for the record heheh. Some people came in the theatre with wizard hats, and in Gryffindor colours- the ties, shirts and of course the scarves. It was cool. :)
But still I love my original pairings and I can't see it changing anytime soon. Bring on the romance and angst!
