So I guess everyone is pretty much going to be writing about today. Afterall, I don't think today will just disappear from people's memory. And like everyone else, I am in shock that something of this magnitude could happen here in the U.S. I had a personal scare of my own since I have relatives that work in the World Trade Center and in its vicinity and my best friend who works in Midtown Manhattan. For about 4 hours, I waited nervously hoping to hear that my relatives were safe, waiting for my friend to call me. Watching the live coverage on CNN didn't help calm my nerves. But I was relieved when I finally got the news that my relatives were safe, and when my friend called me to tell me she made it home. I just can't believe that something like today could happen. It's like a movie come to life, it just doesn't seem real. What will tomorrow be like when people have to go back to the City to work? What will it be like from now on walking around that part of the City, knowing what used to be there?
