Holy crap..is it? It just may be an update!
Work is still mind-numbing. I do enjoy the bar work at both places but I need a full-time job. I actually cannot stand being at home through the day, I never have done. Due to the debt from uni though I will be keeping one of the jobs just because its fun. Probably the one down the rugby club. Lots of history down there for me! First there a couple of weeks old. It features in one of my earliest memories: Dad getting taken of the pitch for triple dislocating his finger. Been scanning the job pages for admin work, just need to send off my CV to a bunch of places. Not that its very impressive: animal qualifications, uni drop-out. But hey hopefully someone has to give me a job
I've been going to the rugby lots with my dad. Going very drunk on Saturday after 12 hours of drinking, blatantely not going to be doing this again. Don't actually remember the night, just that I made a fool of myself. Gloucester are know top of the table and are playing our next home game against Bristol in Bristol because our ground is being re-developed. So doubt I'll get to see a game again until pre-seasons :( hoping to get to the semi-finals when we get through if its at home. Would really love final tickets, think we can do this.
Will be able to get to more away games when I pass my driving test. Finally booked it, 22nd of May. Not nervous yet as its so far away and being driving for 2 years so hopefully it will be ok. Also opens up more job opportunties as I won't have to rely on the ever awful public transport.
Went to an open day at the University of Gloucestershire yesterday, thinking of doing Events Management. I know I would love to do that as a career but I really don't won't to go back to uni. Unfortunatly I've been told by many people that its such a competitive area you pretty much have to have the degree. The campus is gorgeous though and its close to home so I wouldn't have to go through the trauma of living at uni again. It is in Cheltenham though and I have reverse snobbery with Cheltenham :p as it thinks its better than Gloucester. I mean, it is, but it doesn't have to rub it in! Alice came with me which was fun. We didn't go to half the talks because already dont uni and there all the same. We kept getting stared at while we were waiting at the bus stop. Ruddy 'Nammers :P
