i've been working here at camp for a month now and i'm finally adjusting.
i taught my first riding lessons about 2 weeks ago.
i get up at quarter to 7 every morning to bring in horses, feed them, and then get them ready for morning lessons. then i get to eat breakfast, teach two lessons, and get horses ready for afternoon lessons. we get a break for lunch, an hour for a nap, and then i clean about 8 stalls and water/hay the horses and get them ready to be turned out around 5:30. we go to dinner at 6:15 and then take showers, watch a movie, and go to sleep to start it all over again.
i'm exhausted.
there's a really sweet french girl here named eugenie and i felt really helpful because i could actually ask her a little bit about her riding skills so we could put her in a lesson. she has the typical french attitude that is so often stereotyped: intelligent and slightly aloof. she is so cute.
i really miss kohl.
we've been together for about 2 and a half months and i couldn't be happier.
this is the longest i've ever been with anyone and i think that for the first time in my life, i'm actually falling in love.
