Yea, I can't believe I'm awake now either.
I'm back in ye olde Richmond. School's begun. I'm just waiting for it to swallow me whole, as per usual. I've already got a shit-ton of reading to do - not that I can convince myself to start it or anything. Luckily, though, I've manage to get most of my books from the library, free of charge. Since I'm in honors, I can check out a million books and keep them forever [I can get about 50 books and keep them for the whole semester]. I still need to buy a few, but whatever. I got one for $8, give or take. I still need to buy four more - one for psych, two for politics, and a course pack for bible. And my financial aid money STILL hasn't come in yet. Someone please tell me what the point of a book allowance is when one doesn't even receive it until the fucking third week of school [or at least that's when they told me it'd show up - who knows when it actually will].
Work is the same as always; no complaints there. Apparently, BeeBee's been pretty excited about me being back. It's kind've weird that simple work ethic comes as such a surprise to so many people. And honestly, this is a pretty hard job to be disagreeable about - you just sit there and push a button. I mean, c'mon people....
Francis and Chris and Gus are going on some rafting/camping excursion. I can't go because of, well, work. I'm not too upset about it because apparently Kriston's going too. I can't imagine that being a comfortable ride with all the drama between Chris and Kriston. I hate being around people when they're fighting.
Oh, and Francis made me fried oreos! Homemade and everything. Sent me to work with a bunch of them today. Oh, the fried joy and happiness that is my breakfast/lunch/dinner today.....
We got yet another couch in the apartment. I don't know how we did it, but there's now three couches crammed into our tiny apartment - a couch per person. The new couch and all of it's accompanying pillows [there's gotta be half a million of the damned things] is hanging out in my room now. I gotta say, it looks pretty sweet. If I could only get the guys to clean up all the computer parts boxes, everything would be perfect. Maybe - and I know I'm reaching pretty far here - Francis could even clean up his desk.
Hey, Austin - I lost your new number. Can't find it anywhere. Either call and say hi, or gimme.
