A letter for every SUV drivin' Bush Supporter
Dear "Proud" Bush Supporter-
I can’t help but notice how proudly you display your "W-04 Sticker" on you extremely large gas guzzling vehicle. When you are at the pump and are paying in excess of $3.00 or more a gallon, I hope you think about how you have gotten to this point.
Perhaps you too, like President Bush, own large amounts stock in the oil companies and don’t mind paying your share because you will get it back 10-fold.
Perhaps also you don’t mind that the price of gas will increase the cost of the food you eat, the food your family eats, the trips you want to take, and nearly every aspect of your life and the life of your church going family.
Do you have children? You must to be driving such a large vehicle. Great for you! Do you care about their future? Do you care that we are in an economic crisis that will take generations to recover from?
Do you mind that this country is in a deficit unlike anything we have ever seen and we are rebuilding a country we helped to destroy? Does it bother you that we don’t have enough resources to take care of our own?
Do you feel more protected from Terrorism? Who is manning the store while our military is abroad and we are cleaning up natural disasters?
Are you better off that you were 5 years ago?
Just a few things to think about when you are driving around (while you still can) advertising your support for the leader of our country (while we still have one).
