Today on my way to the local grocery store, I saw Ray Emery driving his burnt orange Lamborghini away from the said store. For those not in the know, Ray Emery is the starting goalie for the Ottawa Senators, who are currently playing for the title of NHL champions in the final round of the Stanley Cup playoffs. In Canada (not just Ottawa), this is big news. The Sens are not doing well in the series so far, and Emery did not look happy. (Mind you, who looks happy in rush hour traffic?)
On my way home, I passed "Country Club Estates", only someone had selectively removed some of the letters, so that the fancy sign on the brick wall of the gated community now read, "C-unt-y C-ub Estates". I laughed. A lot.
