Earlier this afternoon, I went grocery shopping.  Whenever I brought in the last items from the car, I must have forgotten to close the door to our garage, as I discovered that it's been open about a foot all this time.  I closed the door and went back to emptying out the dishwasher, snacking, listening to the radio, etc.

After a while, I heard
