I'm a...runner?

So a lovely weekend indeed.  The sun was shining for a whole two days and it was marvelous.  Friday we drove around Portland attempting to figure out what we wanted to do and ended up buying a beautiful hookah and ended up back at Richelle's on her deck that overlooks Portland, it was a grand time.  Saturday I cleaned out my car (I still had sunflower seeds from Fritz...a year ago!) and it's sparkly and smelling good, then we drove up to Longview for an ATS show which was short, but good.  Sunday I ran and my Hood2Coast team met with the documentary producers and they're all down with us it seemed.  If I understood correctly they are following 5 teams throughout the training process and a little on race day and we are definitely one of those teams, then they're picking 2 of the teams to actually have a film crew with them during the whole 197 miles of the race and they seemed pretty stoked on us being one of those teams.  The shit is legit and not just some home movie for the actual race.  They will have 85 people on the camera crew alone, plus helicopters doing aerial views of the course, and they're looking at editing something insane like 600 hours of footage, and editing will take 8-12 months.  Their plan is to do a satellite broadcast in theatres (apparently a new trend with film) where they only show it one or two nights and it sells out hella, then they're showing it at a few film festivals and also selling on DVD... pretty crazy.  And, random ass shit: one of the team members has a sister who is a production assistant or something along those lines with the Oprah show and she's wanting to pitch the idea for a segment...so not something to hold our breath on,  but still pretty damn ridiculous to think about.
After the run, Colin and I hit up Multnomah Falls which was beautiful but because of my earlier run I was already hurting and we went about half a mile up the trail to the top, it was super crowded however.
