Silence's pendant ward: details
Using what she remembers of Tez pattern (burned into her memory, tyvm) as a base, she decided to weave that pattern into a pendant, allowing Fate to shape it as she went. It resulted in a shape somewhere between a sword & an ankh, loosely based off of the sword pendants on this page. She then fashioned a necklace from weaving wire & fabric to complete a circuit a bit like an electro-magnet, only using magical energy instead of electricity. In effect, it acts like a repellent, pushing anything with the same energy pattern away from itself & the wearer. It took her about 2 weeks to make, since it was an experiment. She could probably get better with practice if she had to make another.
As long as the circuit is not broken, the ward works, even if she takes it off. Although the longer it is away from her, the weaker it will become, as she supplies the energy it needs. She could potentially make one for someone else, but that person would either need to be able to fuel it themselves or visit her on a regular basis for a recharge, which could get taxing.
