here I am...
My boss threw me a little going-away party during lunch today, and a bunch of the people from the college showed up. It was pretty nice and made me feel like my work here was appreciated. However, it took two hours out of my already too short day, and I have an immense amount to get done today and tomorrow.
Nice thing though, when I leave work tomorrow, I'm done with it. And I'm even going to get some time off before I have to find a new job in Dallas. yay!
Otherwise, I'm feeling a bit morose. I'm realizing that, after being in Albuquerque for 12 years, I'm finally leaving, probably permanently. I've been, inconsistently, associated with the geek scene so long I could be considered old school. I'm going to miss it.
