Dinner tonight was... Awe-inducing.
As in, the restaurant recreated a pasta dish so that it was veggie-friendly for my sake. There was also the most delicious salad I've ever tasted, much wine, crème brûlée, and champagne. With ocean view.
And the tastiest, most chocolatey truffles that I have ever consumed. We may have gone a little bit crazy, but it was worth it.
I won't need to eat for a week... God, I love food.
Also, an example of how not to explain one's relationship:
RANDOM BOY IN CLASS: So, four years is a long time.
ME: He's very good at doing the dishes... I like to keep him around.
RANDOM BOY: He must be good at more than dishes, to last that long.
ME (raising eyebrow): And vacuuming. His vacuuming skills are very superior.
And then he became flustered and looked away, blushing. I was far too amused for my own good.
