I have such awesome luck with concerts...
In the last year and a half, I have loved every one that I have been to.
Leonard Cohen was fabulous-I was a bit surprised by his energy because the man is in his seventies (I wouldn't blame him for seeming tired), but he was darting on and off the stage and dancing. Given the general slowness of his music, I was also surprised (and pleased) by the playfulness of the concert and the way that it used such a wide variety of instruments. I'm not sure I appreciated the complexity this fully before.
It was a freaking four hour long concert. We got six encores.
Lovely, lovely, lovely. I'll probably be more coherent tomorrow. After my exam.
When I will be done at last! :D
