*happy sigh*

I just finished Bloodhound and it was wonderful. I wish I had stayed up all night last night to finish it, because I could have had an extra day to bask in the awesome, in spite of the fact that I was running off of six hours of sleep in two nights and nearly fell asleep on a friend's shoulder at the pub to which we went to celebrate another friend's birthday. (It was sea-themed, and included paper pirate hats, someone dressed as Gandalf the White Shark, and yours truly in a string of faux pearls, claiming to be an oyster.)

I'll type up a proper review of Bloodhound tomorrow, when it is no longer 3:40am, but for now... Has anyone else read it yet? I want to discuss it!

Ugh. I suppose this means I should return to the battle of finishing Wuthering Heights, so that I can express my hate for it in ways that extend beyond the first hundred pages (which is about as far as I have managed every other time I've tried it). The mockery is starting to get old, and now I am just annoyed (and disturbed) that a man who hangs his wife's dog has had generations of women sighing after him.

Hey, kids, sociopaths are hot!

At the moment, the only character I'm finding remotely bearable is Edgar Linton, and he married Cathy, which is enough to set me against him. Of course, it isn't as though those moors have a wealth of eligible and moderately attractive women, so one cannot hold it against him.

But anyway... Bloodhound. Is. Awesome. Go read it now.
