I am speechless.

You describe the effects of war very well.
Both the innocents affected, and the leaders/advisors directing.

Hate the fact that 'removing a potential/future threat' will, in all likelyhood, mean an escalation in the active fighting (and the rage of the survivors of this unknown base), but ... Jazz is right.
If the base is home to Vos's younglings and neutrals, they are almost certainly being indoctrinated to HATE all Autobots. And the chances of a couple seeing the propaganda for what it is, and deciding for himself, instead of going with the party line, is very, very slim.

I find myself sympathizing with Prowl.
And understanding why he lets the drone facade exist.
If mechs knew he felt this strongly, and that there are some issues he STILL doesn't know he did the right thing, then they wouldn't be so quick to obey his orders when time is of the essence.
Some conniving individuals might even choose to exploit this 'weakness' or use it to break the Autobot's best processor.

Dark, but very well written.

It's surprising at how much I like it.

I'm speechless at your long comment. First of all thank you for that! :D

Starscream will certainly never forgive the Autobots, and the same is probably true for most Deepticons. Vos is probably what Praxus is to the Autobot, and this makes it even worse.
The horrible thing is, how much what the Decepticons say is propaganda and how much is the truth? The more truth, the more difficult it gets to see the 'good' of the Autobots clearly. But yeah, the chances are slim... and yet, is that an excuse?

Prowl's facade definitely helps to keep up a certain image. He can't be seen as weak and doubting, it would be fatal.
