I've been too absorbed in my own concerns and am only slowly catching up with what others had to say recently...
But what I learnt - among other things - is that the recent events seem to be closely tied to the occurrence of voices on the PDAs, and that something similar had happened before...
I can't remember much of what must have happened a week ago, I only remember vaguely that I had fallen asleep while lying on the bed and reading, and that I was woken up by some static noise coming from my PDA...
So had everyone who was affected had their PDAs on at that time? But there are also people who heard the voices but weren't affected, aren't there?
Does it even matter if one is connected via the PDA? If it matters, turning it off when it's not used might be a good idea, although the PDAs have become kind of an indispensible method of communication, and disconnecting oneself from the net for too long might prove to be even more dangerous...
This time, we were plagued by sin, what was it before that? Is there something like a pattern in it, a schedule, some kind of order? Or were those incidents completely random and risen from caprice?

Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders, that ingenious LucasArts game where mankind got stupefied by a buzz sent over the phone? ¬¬ ]]
