2010.
First of all, I'd like to wish everyone a safe and enjoyable night. Be careful with the fireworks, spend time with those you care about, and may 2010 be a great year for you!
Here the air is already filled with all sorts of flares and bangs. It's even snowing! A perfect day to spend inside with part of my family, right? ^^ I hope the same can be said for my friends all across the world.

Meme.
I figured that if other people are doing my meme - and it's possibly even going to be posted at bleachness, which is something I didn't dare do - then I should do the meme myself. *nodnod* So, here are my answers.

Argh. Many of these - like the last pairing - were a stretch, because I don't really dislike that much in Bleach fandom. Everything can be written well and made enjoyable. So take these choices with a grain of salt. Most I'm just bored by.

His friendship with Sajin. I just loved how two people so very different, but both tormented by appearance and past, could become so very close.

Being on different sides and believing in different things. Working with that can be tricky, I imagine, but worth it when done well.
7. What is (1)'s most memorable scene from canon?
I'm down to his fight with Mayuri and his fight with Ulquiorra. Since I might be biased regarding the first one, I'll choose the second. Him fighting against Ulquiorra, valiantly defending Orihime, and losing limbs in the process makes me like him a lot more.
8. (9) are getting married. Which writer could best write their wedding!fic? (If you don't know anyone, try finding someone whose work looks promising.)

9. What is (4)'s best physical attribute?
Actually, he's pretty good-looking all around. The tattoo does wonders, too. ;)
10. Explain what's great about (10) in a short summary.
Oh, wow, heh. Well, they're the two main characters of Bleach and their initial meeting is what made Ichigo the way he is now. She has a good influence on him, most of the times, and is a smart young woman.
11. Which of the first five would you most like to be like and why?
Hisagi Shuuhei. Strong, intelligent, just and good-looking. Works for me. ^^
12. Which of the first five would you most like to date and why?
Ishida Uryuu. I'm not his biggest fan, but he would be a loyal and caring boyfriend, I think.
13. Which pairing interests you the most and why?
Kuchiki Rukia/Kurosaki Ichigo. I think their dynamic could be interesting if written well and there's a lot of fic to be found.
14. Which pairing would you choose to make canon if you had to choose one and why? (Remember, no veiled insults!)
I'm tempted to say Zaraki/Hanatarou, just to see the madness unfold, but realistically... Urahara/Yoruichi, as I can really see their connection and it'd be a mischievous pairing.

Ichigo/Rukia.
"You idiot," Rukia snapped, curling a hand around her zanpakutou as she dragged her body towards him. Blood stained the ground everywhere, but all she saw were the drooping eyelids of the man beside her.
High above them reiatsu wavered and flashed, caught in the constant swirl of movement, as Ichigo rested broken on stone. Even so, he tried to move.
She glared. "What do you think you're doing?"
No reply, just the wheezing of a windpipe strained by too many crushing blows.Zangetsu, splattered in red too, lay in pieces, only inches from his fingertips, but Rukia dared not touch. Ichigo's firm grip on the hilt said enough.
"Protecting," he finally replied through bouts of coughing. Her hand rested against his as he sagged back against cracked concrete. She could feel the way his every muscle twitched.
She gave him a weak smile. "And so you did."
As the war raged on around them Rukia sat there, clutching her zanpakutou in one hand and Ichigo's wrist in another. Sad eyes regarded his struggling form as she held strong, vowing to protect him as he had her. She's return the favour until the end.
