I have neglected us for far too long.

It turns out that yesterday was not a spectacular Canberra winter day but just any other day...the whole everything is white/covered in frost is apparently normal. It would be almost amazing to see the field of white and sparkling lawns and rooftops except that it's FREAKING FREEZING @___@ The cold is killing me. I have little energy left to do things. School has officially started for two days and I have attended introductory lectures for four of my chosen units:
1) Cell Physiology in health and disease : which is insanely difficult, even though it disguises itself well under the name @___@ I have been informed it is the most difficult biology unit in the school of BaMBi-School of Biomedical and Molecular Biology - which is just great. At the moment I am having trouble understanding the topics of the lectures @___@ *sighs*
2) Advances in Human genetics : This unit looks rather interesting and it is moderately challenging but it won't kill me! ^^ WHO! I have to produce a research paper by the end of the year of ANY topic of choice to do with human genetics, sort of an early indication of the direction my final pHD research paper might be on...*scratches chin* The guest lectures are also very interesting people :D People from Law (for the cloning ethics and etc..) and even people in charge of the Kangaroo Genome project ^^;; It sounds fun.
3) Microbiology : Rather promising! :D We're to not use our own lab coats but use the ones provided by the school since nothing in the lab is meant to "leave the room" :D Bacteria, virus and bacteriophage specialised unit. Sounds goooooood.
4) Molecular Biotechnology : All cloning and transgenic animals in this unit. ^^ (*note: Cloning here is cloning plasmids and such =P not Dolly the sheep cloning so cool your jets). Overall I'm rather looking forward to them all :D Textbooks and bricks dont come in cheap though @____@ *sighs* Sooo much money.. Oh and also something else I want to say today. I'm so sorry.
