These aren't drops Setsuko..they are marbles...
I'm sitting up and hugging my knees tightly. "Grave of the fireflies"/Hotaru no Haka (Hotaru meaning grave and Haka meaning fireflies) must be the prettiest, saddest and most humane anime I have seen yet.
A must see for everyone else.

You certainly do not watch this movie for the plot, but more for the humanity..love and determination of the two orphans that work like little trinkets..making the movie so magical. It is also beased on an autobiographical short story of a Japanese writer.
This is a very important day as I mark down this very anime as one of my all time favourites.
The little girl died eating dirt and rock waiting for her big brother..thinking they were candies he once gave her a long time ago.
A must see for everyone else.
