Hi everyone and welcome to sil's Bunker! After reading the book "Fangasm: Supernatural Fangirls" by Lynn S. Zubernis and Katherine Larsen, I decided to check out this site in earnest. I had heard about it prior to reading the book, but had not visited. Once I did, I couldn't figure out how to navigate the site to find what I was looking for other than to just search for "Supernatural." Of course that just brought up a tons of stuff which was difficult to sift through for things that interested ME. What I was looking for was Supernatural news about the show, episode reviews, and fanfics I would enjoy, but again, for some reason, I was having trouble finding exactly what I was looking for.
Then came the Season 9 finale! After recovering from THAT as much as anyone *could* recover from it, I was left wanting more - a LOT more! I had SO MANY ideas running through my heard and then I finally thought, "what the hell?" Why not write a fanfic myself? So that's exactly what I did. However, by that time I had written LJ off as something I just couldn't navigate, so I decided to post it on FanFiction.net where I've received wonderful reviews!
So, now I've now decided, instead of trying to navigate LJ myself, I'd see if I could post my fanfic here and see if people would be able to find ME! So, here it goes and I really hope you enjoy it! However, whether or not you do, I hope you will let me know what you think! I've written several chapters so far, but thought I'd just post the first one here and see how it goes. Thanks in advance for any and all feedback you choose to leave! Whether you like it or not, I'm know it will inspire me to continue writing and posting subsequent chapters here.
