I know exactly what you mean about your mind racing after that S9 finale, MINE WAS TOOOOO! And of course that's what inspired this fic! I have NEVER done anything like this before but I just had so many ideas, I had to write them down, and that's how this whole story started! So yes, I'm right there with ya on that front! So nice to see I'm not the only one!

As for our Show coming up with these same ideas - somehow I doubt that, LOL. Mainly because Crowley/Mark Sheppard is a recurring character next season and he is not very prominent here... for now anyway ;)
As for the quick postings, don't let that fool ya! LOL! As I've mentioned in comments, these chapters had already been written before I ever started posting them here, they were just re-edited into what IMO, is a *much* better version than what I had previously posted on FF.net. I have one more chapter that's been written that I still need to edit, but have just run out of time with this move hanging over my head. However, I have started writing Chapter 12 and will hopefully have both chapters up after the move on Tuesday!
Oh, and I'm so happy that you're enjoying Gabriel in this story! I just adore his sarcasm AND his wisdom as well. I think a lot of people underestimate him, but that was one thing Metatron got right - he has always been one to teach a good lesson! I hope to be able to portray some of that soon!
