What's in a species anyway?

So it's been about 8 years since my last furry meet up or con, which is far too big a dry spell. A lot of changes happened in my life that kept me away from my furry ambitions!

Well no more!

Luckily there are many furries in the Northwest (I live in Seattle now) with a meet up group of almost 2000 in the area! I doubt there are as many here as there were in California, but I look forward to getting involved in the community here.

I'm 30 now (What?!). I met most of you when I was too young to drink at your con parties. I'm so thankful that so many of you remember me and welcomed me back. But isn't that just like the fandom? :-)

Back in the day I was a great pyrenees pup, but as time went on, I decided a change was in order.

In celebration of my de facto re-entry into the fandom, I have changed species to one that I feel more represents me.

I am now a Polar Bear!

I just love how your character is you, but not you. You really learn a lot about yourself when you create a character. I have some commissions in the works; the new icon is a WIP sketch. I'm keeping the name Siku for simplicity's sake.

The Next step: save up for a fursuit!

I've always wanted to organize a group to enter into a fursuit dance competition, but without a suit that will be hard! Those of you with suits, would you recommend a maker? It will take me quite a while to save for one, but I've wanted one for a long time now.

I hope you all are doing well.

Take care!

Siku
