Hey, hows life? Hopefully everything is going well! Things are pretty good here in SA. Doing some fun stuff, hanging around the water front, down town etc. Went cage diving with great whites on saturday! haha, that was great! we saw 15 different great whites in the 3-4 hours we were out. Fantastic.

So i'm planning a week long exursion to the eastern coast called "the sunshine coast" by the locals. Unfortunately it's winter here, but it will still be fun! I'm planning on trying to ride an ostrich, visiting a game reserve, going sand dune surfing, maybe some real surfing, going on cave tours, road tripping up the coast and staying in youth hostels eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches breakfast lunch and well...hopefully not dinner too, but we'll see! Hopefully my car doesn't break down! :)

Anyway, i was going to post lots of pictures, but the internet here is so slow, i could only sit through uploading 4. But here they are anyhow.

Here is a picture of a great white by our boat just before i went in the cage! They were so big, it was great. We had a few of them breach the water, and one of them attack a baby seal right in front of our boat. I got a DVD of the experience becuase i didn't take a whole lot of pictures, i was too busy diving! :)

This is the boat we went in. A little skipper boat kind of like in jaws haha. There were about 15 people in total that were on the boat, about 8 of which went diving. Of course i was included! Some people paid to go and didn't even dive! how lame is that :)

There are many forms of transport in Cape Town. Dangerous minibus taxis, painfully unfrequent and slow buses, cars, scooters, and the ever popular horse drawn carriage. :p Here is one getting ready to make a left turn. People just drive around them. The carts are seen on every street except for freeways. Its great, but they sometimes cause traffic jams. There are also a lot of donkey carts as well.

This is a picture i took in a clinic in a township called Mfuleni. I work with the only guy in the picture. This is an HIV+ mothers support group. The room was so small and hot!! i could only fit about 1/3 of the women in the shot that were in the room. They were in a tight circle all holding their babies. But yeah, that guy leads the group every week. :)

anyway, sorry only 4! I wanted to show a lot more, when i get home i'll do a big photo dump, but until then, only about 4-5 at a time. Sorry!

So yeah, i'm off to watch the semi finals and write sheena's letter! Take care everyone. peace! Hope you enjoyed the pics.

Siku
