Fuck. Toshiya waved at me. Now life has meaning.
Last night I ventured downtown to see Dir en grey live at the Rams’ Head.
OH.MY.FUCKING. GOD.
It was standing room only, so I was worried about not being able to see but I got a really sweet spot in front of Die! YAY FOR BEING EARLY.
Periodically through their set, Die would look up and our eyes would meet…and he would grin and show off those beautiful teeth… it felt like my heart was going to beat out of my chest. I was so close I could see the sweat on his face, and that hot tattoo on his hand. *squee* He is so attractive in person…pictures just don’t do him justice. His hair has gotten so long again, and he kept throwing his head around to get it out of his face while he played. Did I mention that watching him play is insanely sexy? He tried to throw us picks, but those little suckers don’t fly well at all!
The lights were blinding, so it was hard to get pictures of them. Shinya was getting low behind his drum kit, and I didn’t see his face once! Even after their set was over and he came from behind the kit to throw his sticks into the audience, his fucking hair was in the way! Speaking of Shinya’s drum kit, it is AMAZING. It’s gold and beautiful with cymbals and drums everywhere… I didn’t feel worthy to gaze upon it’s superb amazingness. OMFG TOTCHI WAS WEARING A SKIRT. OH LAWD, I WAS DONE THEN. He has his hair cut into a cute bob now, and he looks sexy as shit sweaty man! He was running around the stage and spinning his bass around, harassing Shinya behind the drums for a moment…dude was all over the place XD. TOSHIYA WAVED AT ME GUYS, OMG! From the other side of the stage he looked directly at me and pointed like, ‘Yeah I see you up there rocking out!’ and he smiled all wide and I was in love. He is a giant in person, OMG with a super humongous bass! Seriously, that thing is EPICALLY huge. Toshiya come back and be adorable soon okay?
At the end, Kaoru came to our side of the stage and I fucking FLIPPED OUT. I was like ‘OMG KAORU IT’S YOU! FUCK THOSE SLEEVES ARE HOT!’ His tattoos looks amazing in person, as do Kyo’s. Of course Kyo didn’t keep his shirt on long; halfway through UROBOROS and BUGABOO it disappeared. I was looking at him and I didn’t see him take it off! Hot tiger on Kyo’s hip is hot, and he was going commando so as his pants fell down you could see the tiger and the artwork around his sides, along with his SMEXY MAN-V! His entire back is covered in the most beautiful art…I couldn’t get a good picture of his back because the little bastard wouldn’t stay still long enough XD

They seemed genuinely touched and sort of surprised at how ferocious we were, lol. Die especially was amused, and kept laughing and grinning at all of us. At the end he raised his guitar to us and patted his heart in a thank you of sorts. Toshiya must have loved us, because he got down in the audience during the encore and all you could see were hands engulfing him and his bass as he played. Kyo scanned the entire space and looked at all of us for a moment, then pounded his heart too and we all screamed in delight. YAY KYO ACCEPTED US AND LOVES US BACK!! They weren’t even supposed to play an encore, but we started screaming for one more song, and they appeared again like magic! XDDD
It was a truly incredible night…one that I will never forget. After I left I started crying so hard…I was so embarrassed! But the whole experience felt so unreal I almost didn’t believe I had been there and my imagination was running away again; but, my ears were still ringing from Toshiya’s bass, and when I closed my eyes I could still see Die standing in front of me with his hair flying around him as he played his guitar so perfectly…
Today I am in so much pain and my voice is completely gone, but it was SO worth it.
