last day of the holiday.
It is back to work again tomorrow. In many ways I am looking forward to it because it means a return to some form of normality. It has not been a good holiday. I suppose though that things are sorted and we just need to work out what happens in the future.
So what did I do on my last day of holiday? I slept an hour in the afternoon, baked bread, baked a banana cake, went for a long walk around the peninsula of Port Chalmers, vacuumed the floor, listened to Beethoven, made a fire. I made banana bread because there were two old bananas left from when the little one was here.
All in all it was pretty ok. I feel like I need to have a series of tasks to keep me occupied and to keep me going.
I also checked some of my stuff for teaching tomorrow; a full day ahead of me, of course. Normality.
