Rain

It has been a wet and soggy week, and so cricket was cancelled on two days, Wednesday and Thursday. The rain continued, and we had minor floods in the city, then sports day was cancelled. Just as well, because our sports field was just awash and the athletes would have been covered in mud, to their parents' joy. Then late Friday I received an email to say that cricket would be cancelled, which leaves me free today. There won't be any surprise to know that the sun is shining this Saturday morning, and with the steady wind I am sure that the pitches will dry. However, I won't reverse a decision by the council!

Well, I have just heard the baby wake, so time to look after him!
