updates and all that
had a great time spinning at The Fatality Ball on Friday... well, except getting sick off McDonalds there at the end of the night... lesson learned there for sure. Was given a gift of a "Captain Spaulding" action figure from my friends in The Graveyard Boulevard.... hammered out a really good set, caught up with lots of friends I don't get to see nearly as often as I'd like to anymore... it was really a good reminder of why I love Charlotte so much!
(got literally 2 hours of sleep and hit the road again)
Then, had another great time spinning @ Asylum in WIlmington Saturday... great people to work with, good crowd, good atmosphere, and was given yet another a gift, of a "Living Dead Doll" of "Leatherface" by the promoters who were also kind enough to feed me and take care of my bar-tab... I've been invited to come back in November... really looking forward to that!
(got literally 2 more hours of sleep in the car on the way back)
Made it home around 9:00am, got some groceries and finally got to sleep around 2:00pm or so... my Sunday was spent trying to make up for much lost sleep. Woke up around 7:00pm... made dinner and basically hung around the house watching a couple movies and catching up with QK.
Decided not to go to Raleigh... so no Psyclon Nine/Imperative Reaction show for me, but no biggie... I'll be up there again sooner or later for the Phantom Frequency radio show along with Torch and Tim. There's lots more going on, but frankly, I've been far too busy for Livejournal nowadays...
Next up... I'm helping with promoting "Bite Club" Sept 18th... spinning @ Alloy Sept 20th... and spinning literally every single weekend after that until... December I think. So yeah no shortage of things to do around here people.
