Voila.
Well, we were running late and every camera in the house was out of batteries, so there's only this hasty camera phone pic to show you the 40's/50's getup. The hair turned out wonderfully! I ended up doing an assymetrical Victory Roll set-- two one one side (because my side-cut bangs would not stay in one roll), and one on the other, with a flower. My hair is on the finer side, so I didn't get a ton of phloof, but overall, I really liked how it turned out and want to play with it more. It was a great shape for my face.
I was out until 6am last night. That's later than I've been out since... college? Seriously, last NYE, I was out cold at 12:15. The party was a lot of fun. Lots of dancing and bad singing and wine, wine, wine. We didn't leave until most of the drunk drivers on the road were already gone, but still, we saw a horrific number of pileups on the way back from DC.
I slept in until almost 2pm. Made pancakes. Am now swanning around in red satin pajamas, with hair sticking straight up like Doc Brown's. Planning on spending the rest of my evening romancing my Kindle.
