Gawain
Well... He's complete! Now for some clothes.
When I bought Little Gawain, my first doll, I already knew that I was going to get a Morgana doll too. But I never thought I'd get an adult Gawain, because I coulodn't believe I would be able to find a suitable head. Then one day I was wandering around the second-hand dollie market on DoA and found La Légende de Temps Roderich. I was immediately sold on his nose, his mouth and his half-closed eyes...
La Légende de Temps does not make bodies (yet), so if I bought this head, I was going to have to find a suitable body for it elsewhere. That's always a bit tricky since you have to buy these dolls through the Net; chances that you'd get to try a head on a body are slim. Hybriding dolls is always a bit of a gamble. But this one went fairly well; I'm happy with it. Gawain is on a 65 cm Dollzone body. I just adore its bulk and its capacity to pose :D.
Here I had just unwrapped the body and put the head on it :). He's wearing another wig - the same type as Little Gawain's (I thought of that, of course :P).
There is just one thing I hadn't counted on. According to the company website, Morgana and Gawain should both be 65 cm tall. HOWEVER - as soon as I'd unwrapped Gawain's body, I just knew he was shorter than she. And he is. According to my tapemeasure, Gawain is 63-64 cm and Morgana 65-66cm. Morgana is simply very leggy. When they sit down together, his shoulders are higher than hers (and his torso is about twice as wide) - but she has endless legs :).
Poor Gawain. You can just tell he's frustrated...
