Siguard prepared the chairs in the auditorium and placed a copy of the script on each chair. He parked himself in one of the auditorium's chairs (leaving one open beside him for Arthur, after all, the Co-Director needed a place of honor. He was hoping to plunge himself into the play and hopefully it would distract him from some of his pain. He knew ( Read more... )

Peter stumbled his way into the auditorium and panted heavily. It seemed like he was a little late, Alfred and his brother were doing their auditions, and there were other people that he recognized too. He shouldn't have wasted his time choosing the clothes after all, in the end he chose the same thing he wore everyday.

Peter had never been in a play before, but Sleeping Beauty is one of his favorite story, and it sounded really interesting when Arthur talked about it, so he wanted to give it a try.

"Hi Siguard! I hope I'm not too late." He waved at the Norwegian. He had seen the guy hanging out with Arthur sometimes, and he had a troll with him. Cool!

"Hello Little Peter. Tino and Berwald asked me to say hello to you when you arrived." He said gently, checking off Peter's name on the list of people who had been interested in coming. "There are scripts on the chairs over there, if you would like to sit and wait for your turn." He gently indicated the chairs.

"Okay" Peter wanted to tell Siguard not to call him "little", but the other was really polite and all, so he just pouted while taking a script for himself. Choosing a character was a little hard, since there were too many girl's role, and he didn't want to be a main protagonist. Hmm... Maybe the King was a tad too much for him, but it won't hurt to try, right? He tried to think of the way a king would talk and act and what kind of face would he make.

"Whenever you're ready you can do your reading Peter. Welcome to the theater. It's nice to see young people interested in the theater. Young blood." He released a small, controlled smile.

Peter breathed out and grinned back confidently "Hehe, thank you! I'm going to be the best king ever!" He looked at Siguard, eagerness showed in his eyes. "So... which part should I read?"

"You may select any part that you would like to audition, Alfred will read with you, I can't promise you that you'll get the role you tried out for, Peter, but the audition is the chance to be whoever you want to be." He nodded gently. He wanted to make that clear to the child, sometimes kids became so enamored with a particular role that they had to be made aware that sometimes you were casted as a different role.

"Aww~ Is that so? Well, I'll do my best!" He was a little surprised but not that he cared anyway. "I just don't want to be a main character. And I'm probably not going to be, anyway." He shrugged.

"I'll pick the beginning then. When the princess hasn't been born yet. Err... Alfred can be one of the fairies, or the queen. Which one do you choose?" He grinned.

"Hey, Peter," Alfred greeted. "I'll just be one of the fairies, I guess," he said grinning. "Whenever you're ready; I think the King starts first... Good luck!"
