I was flipping through the radio on my way home from yet another grueling day at work. I came across a talk radio station, and something caught my ear. There was a guy talking about playing cards. Not anything like magic the gathering, but real 52 deck (king queen jack) playing cards. He said they were the fruits of the devil.
This guy talked about the secret evils of the playing cards, and how they were the "Devil's Bible." I shit you not. This guy was a total asshole. This self proclaimed preacher, who couldn't prove any one certain fact about how they were evil, (no biblical scriptures) said that preachers today were fools for not speaking out against them. He DID say that they were protested by some of the catholic priests and what not in the 1500's. What in the hell kind of arguement is that? Doesn't anyone realize that a whole bunch of stuff was protested in the 1500's. Like pants, women's rights, certain types of music. Need I say more. This guy was basing his arguments on HISTORICAL NONSENSE. Did you know it was a fact back in the 1500's that if you left your socks in the dark too long they turned into mice.
If anyone can, I bequeath you to prove me wrong when I say that he was a total Assclown.
