random things on a tuesday afternoon
I was in a mood last night. Deciding that distraction was the best way to cope with the horrid day I had, I put my DramaFever subscription to good use. But today, even though I'm feeling a bit better (knowing I get to see Lisa in a few hours helps!), I'm planning to continue because it was actually quite fun.
My newest little 'project' is watching the first episode of various dramas. Things I've been thinking about watching, things I've been thinking about not watching, etc. There are some I hope to go back and watch & I'm sure I'll come across some that I'll avoid like the plague.
No long, thoughtful reviews-- just what went through my head after I finished an episode/series.
When It's At Night. Interesting premise but I gave up about halfway through. I went to YouTube to see if there was a clip of the awesome security beam-avoiding acrobatic thing that Chohee did at the beginning but I found fanvids instead. This one did its job, convincing me that I might really need to watch this series. (Aww!) Has anyone watched this? Thumbs up/down?
What Planet Are You From? I'm definitely coming back to this one. It had the perfect mix of angst (girl who looks like dead girlfriend) & comedy (idiot city boy in the countryside). I'm sure the angst will only heighten as he becomes more infatuated with her and more people realise that she's the spitting image of the girlfriend. ... I just hope there's a happy ending?
My Girl. ♥ Yu-rin is ten shades of awesome & Gong Chan might actually be a really decent guy. From reading the synopsis, I think know how the story goes and I am so there. :D
Christopher Eccleston is finally talking about leaving Doctor Who. At least, I think? I don't recall hearing him being so open about it before.
IDEK what the producers of Criminal Minds are thinking but this horrible casting news is just-- people more eloquent than me are talking about it & I think there's even a petition going around, though I fear it's probably not going to help much. :(
I'm a fan of Danson's so I'd be excited about this new song no matter what but Amber!! ♥ (If they ever do a Korean version of Hana-Kimi, she'd be perfect as Mizuki. I made a comment to a similar effect over @ omona & was pleased to find that I'm not alone in that thought. \o/)
