I got really, really behind on news. :|

Amy Sherman-Palladino still hopes to finish Gilmore Girls the way she had always intended. There is nothing even vaguely in the works, but she hasn't given up on a GG movie at some point.

Melissa McCarthy will be appearing on Private Practice this January for an episode.

The YA series Cycler has been optioned for development. Has anyone read it? The premise ('girl who turns into guy once a month') sounds pretty interesting.

Belle de Jour has revealed her true identity.

From here:
Lorraine Bracco has been cast in the Rizzoli pilot.
Jeffrey Tambor has joined Rex Is Not Your Lawyer; he will play Rex's therapist.

If you're interested in The Vampire Diaries but haven't had a chance to check it out, the CW is making it easy: starting December 14th, they're going to re-air all 10 episodes with 2 episodes a night.

Final Fantasy XIII will be released in America on March 9th. ♥_♥ I'm hoping that PS3s might come further down in price by next summer, because I need more FF in my life. :D :D :D

Real Time With Bill Maher has been renewed for another season.

Lost will return with a two-hour season premiere on February 2nd.

FOX has officially passed on it, but there is still hope that Boldy Going Nowhere might happen. The script is currently being reworked (again). TFC got a look at the second version & they were impressed, which surprised me.

Jason Lee has been cast in Delta Blues, a TNT pilot about a cop who still lives at home & moonlights as Elvis. :P

I watched the trailer for Robert Pattinson's new movie Remember Me & it was better than I expected.

The CW is giving another go at turning Global Frequency into a tv series.

Amanda Tapping will make another appearance on Stargate Universe this season.

Rain talked about the work involved filming Ninja Assassin; the link goes to the official Korean tourism website, which is kinda awesome & how I found the article in the first place. :D

Roland Emmerich plans to make two sequels to Independence Day 'one day'.

SCI FI Wire looked at some of the pilots that were rejected this past season & I am still bummed that Captain Cook's Extraordinary Atlas didn't get picked up. :(

BBC America will air 'The End of Time, Part One' on December 26th. The end of 10 is so close. D: The trailer made my heart ache, but the cast list is certainly something to squee a bit about. (Um, I haven't been paying that much attention to the Doctor Who news lately. Rose-coloured glasses are... Rose-coloured. :|)

Chuck returns to NBC on January 10th; it'll move to its old timeslot the next night. SFW has a pretty nice trailer at the link.

Filming has wrapped for the Game of Thrones pilot. We won't know the verdict until March. *frets*

Hack/Slash is being adapted into a movie.

Josh Friedman (of TSCC) is attached to the Charlie's Angels remake.

Stephen King is working with Steven Spielberg to turn his new book Under the Dome into a miniseries. :D

Emma (2009) will be released on DVD on February 9th.

The more I hear about the upcoming Daria DVD release, the more excited I get. I just know it's going to be expensive though. :|
