I have zero interest in the show, but these 90210 spoilers are interesting. I'll be curious to see if they handle it well.

NBC has ordered 6 more episodes of Chuck, bringing the season three order to 19 episodes.

I really, really hope that FX picks up Powers. Brian Bendis talked to MTV about the pilot & it sounds so cool!

Interesting news about 90210, I may have to keep up with how this goes. Well, without actually watching the show.

And I've never seen Being Human, but if they want to remake it and it's done well it could be good. Maybe like BSG, even though it was old and Being Human isn't.

Heh, me too. I figure I follow enough sources that I'll hear one way or another how the storyline goes.

If Being Human wasn't an active show, I don't think I'd be so annoyed by the idea of a remake but-- the second series is going to be airing in January! And the first series just finished airing on BBC America. So I just can't understand why there's a need for a 'new' version. SyFy just really must be desperate. :(

I think they just like the idea rather than desperation. They figure they can adapt to American television. I should be more upset about this as I really don't like that they're remaking The Orphanage either for America.

I think the problem is that we are just too smart. Honestly. The average American tv viewer doesn't care who came up with the idea & whether it was done better originally. They don't want to have to read subtitles (The Orphanage) or listen to funny accents (Being Human).

*sigh* I should probably be less upset about this. I just don't want this to turn into another Coupling.

Is Coupling that show with the brothers and sisters etc. I watched the US version and quite liked it. And then we got the actor to cross over to The Inside, which then also got canceled. *sigh*

I am so unbelievably biased about Coupling because I loved the original and, even though the US cast was great, it just seemed like a pale imitation. If it hadn't been cancelled, perhaps it could have came into its own as a show (like The Office did). IDK.
