I used to do these updates more timely... didn't I? *facepalm* So, again, please forgive the mish-mash of old & new things. :/
Minka Kelly of Friday Night Lights & Jason Dohring have been cast as the leads in the CW's Body Politic.
Tyler Labine will be in a FOX pilot, Sons of Tucson. That, um, can't be good for Reaper? D:
Here's the box art for the Reaper s2 DVD release.
Highlights from
NBC's summer schedule:
Conan O'Brien takes over The Tonight Show on June 1st.
The Listener premieres on June 4th.
Merlin will start on June 21st.
The Philanthropist with James Purefoy premieres on June 24th.
Meteor, a disaster miniseries with Christopher Lloyd, Marla Sokoloff & Stacy Keach, starts on June 7th.

I know Charisma Carpenter probably needs the work, but really?
A movie with Sylvester Stallone & 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin? o_O
This article about Henry Thomas guest-starring in a sweeps episode of CSI has relieved me of the guilt I was feeling about quitting the show.
It's another episode pretty much made to order for Marg's 'for your consideration' reel. *headdesk* Catherine-centric episodes were always my least favourite, because Catherine is my least favourite. :P Without Grissom & Sara, there isn't any more incentive to watch that crap.
The 4400's Joel Gretsch has joined the cast of V.
Elizabeth Mitchell will also be appearing in the pilot, although it's yet uncertain whether she is a permanent cast member or a guest star.
'The complete first season' of Castle is already scheduled to be released on DVD on September 22nd.
The third season of Ugly Betty will also be released on September 22nd.

Sharon Lawrence will appear in an episode of Grey's Anatomy next month. The article has spoilers for her appearance/storyline.
The Futon Critic has read the pilot script for Human Target & wasn't overly impressed. That's a bit discouraging, but it could definitely improve in the execution so fingers crossed!
They were also unimpressed with the script for Vampire Diaries.
In Vampire Diaries casting news,
Ian Somerhalder has been cast as Damon &
Paul Wesley has been cast as Stefan.
Henry Rollins will appear in six episodes of Sons of Anarchy next season.
The third season of Psych will be released on DVD on June 30th.
Here's the list of extras.
USA will also be releasing
Monk's seventh season the same day. (
The box art.)
A familiar face will be appearing on Monk's last season --
Bitty Schram will return as Sharona for one episode only.
Alex O'Loughlin will play a doctor in the CBS pilot Three Rivers. Medical dramas are a dime a dozen nowadays, but I do like the idea of this being centered around organ transplants.
Katherine Moenning is also in the cast, as is
Julia Ormond.
The second series of Torchwood will be released on Blu-ray on July 7th.
Heather Locklear has turned down an offer to appear in the Melrose Place reboot.

The first season of Designing Women comes to DVD on May 26th. Awesome! The 2006 Paley reunion is included as an extra.
You can watch
a teaser trailer for Caprica at SCI FI Wire. I think it looks fascinating!
Edward James Olmos talks about what he hopes BSG: The Plan will represent to fans & non-fans. You can go
here & see the teaser trailer and cast list.
This RDM interview has moderate spoilers for the Battlestar Galactica finale but I'm linking it because of the last question: it looks like the chances of Virtuality making it to air are pretty slim. D:
The Veronica Mars movie won't be happening 'anytime soon', if ever.
The International Society for the Study of Trauma & Dissociation has
a section of their website dedicated to examining The United States of Tara. They do seem very positive about the show!
Jeri Ryan will appear in three episodes of Law & Order: SVU, starting on April 7th.
Trust Me looks less likely to get a second season now that
Eric McCormack has joined the cast of an ABC pilot.
The Middleman will be released on DVD as 'the complete series' on July 28th.
The box art is pretty awesome.
The second series of The IT Crowd will be released on NA DVD on June 30th.
And
the first series of The Mighty Boosh will street on July 21st. (
The box art.)
I've never heard of the Percy Jackson novels before, but I'm really excited for the movie adaptation --
Pierce Brosnan, Uma Thurman, & Sean Bean!
Michelle Trachtenberg will play a nurse in the NBC pilot Mercy.
The Bones-Family Guy crossover is scheduled for May 7th. :/ The article has spoilers for the episode.

Sam Neill has been cast in ABC's Happy Town.
True Blood's Carrie Preston hints at what's to come in season two. The interview is moderately spoilery, I think.
The American premiere of Dragonball Evolution has been pushed back to April 10th.
A movie version of Jericho 'is in active development'.
Freddie Prinze Jr. & Paul Campbell have been cast in ABC's remake of No Heroics. Hmm, I dislike Freddie as a person but he's not bad as an actor. I might give this a shot.
I haven't watched Big Love lately so I'm not sure how spoilery this casting news is:
Amanda Seyfried may have to pull out of a movie because of her commitment to Big Love. For a show with a limited number of episodes & so many cast members, either HBO is unwilling to work her schedule around or maybe she will be featured more prominently in the next season.
There has been a bunch of Stargate Universe news lately:
SCI FI Wire has the teaser trailer.
Robert Carlyle talked to io9; SGU may be 'the darkest Stargate of them all'.
The first official cast photo has been released.
The official site doesn't have much content, but it's online.
And I know two lovely ladies on the flist who probably know all these bits already, but
SCI FI Wire posted '20 fun facts to help celebrate Leonard Nimoy's birthday'; he turned 78 yesterday. ;)
o_O I'll tag this later. I think I'm going to watch Twilight now. XD
