I'll get back to posting these things in a more timely fashion one of these days -- when I'm either not sick or not running around like a fool trying to do a dozen things at once. *facepalm* So, again, please forgive some of the older stuff thrown in here. (I always intend to stay on top of things, but once it gets a few days overdue -- it tends to get a few more days overdue.)

Christopher McDonald will be guest-starring in the Stargate Universe pilot/premiere.

The Stargate crew definitely like to keep things in the family. XD Peter DeLuise will be directing an episode of Stargate Universe.

Being Human was renewed for a second series.

The premiere of Sherlock Holmes has been pushed back a month -- to Christmas Day.

Jessica Capshaw has been signed for the rest of this season on Grey's Anatomy & there's an option for her to join the cast as a regular.

Star Trek: The Experience is being reopened in Las Vegas, albeit in a significantly smaller & different form.

I mentioned that LL Cool J was officially confirmed for the NCIS spinoff in my last news post -- it wasn't long after that Chris O'Donnell was officially confirmed as well.

Kirsten Vangsness of Criminal Minds is planning to marry her girlfriend this spring. I'm against objectifying women & all, but -- aww, she & her soon-to-be wife are adorable!

Nina Dobrev has been cast as Elena in the CW's Vampire Diaries. (Thoughts from the fandom?)

Katie Cassidy has been cast in one of the CW's new shows -- just not the one people expected. :P She's in Melrose Place, not Vampire Diaries. Ashlee Simpson has also joined the cast. (... I'm just going to remember what my mama always said -- if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. :P)

And, speaking of MP, Mischa Barton is rumoured to be in talks to join the cast. (This may be an unpopular opinion, but I think it'd be a good role/show for her.)

No Doubt will appear (and perform!) in the May 11th episode of Gossip Girl.

Andrew McCarthy has been cast as Lily's father in the Gossip Girl spinoff.

The second season of Burn Notice is expected to be released on DVD on June 16th.

While this news is only 'expected' & not yet officially official, Two & a Half Men has been renewed for three more seasons, The Big Bang Theory for at least two more.

Ugly Betty's Kevin Sussman will appear in an episode of The Big Bang Theory in April. The article has spoilers for his role/storyline.

Alexis Bledel will appear in the series finale of ER, scheduled for April 2nd. This'll be her first television role since Gilmore Girls.

Rita Rocks has been renewed for a second season of 20 episodes.

Jami Gertz & Autumn Reeser have joined the cast of Entourage.

I don't recognise the other names but Carly Pope & three others have joined the cast of Day One. (Ignore the Jericho fans spamming the comments; damn! Even Browncoats have learned to move on. :P We got our movie, they got their second season. Live & let broadcast already!)

Scott Wolf has been cast in the V pilot. And so has Morris Chestnut. And the third casting reveal is probably my favourite -- Morena Baccarin!

I didn't even know they were making a Ramona movie until this popped up -- Ginnifer Goodwin, John Corbett, & Bridget Moynahan have been cast in Ramona & Beezus.

io9 thinks that Julie Gardner could 'save American television' in her new role working with the BBC's American division.

Torchwood's Indira Varma has been cast as the lead in Inside the Box, the new series from Grey's Anatomy's Shonda Rhimes.

The second season of Everwood will finally be released on DVD on June 16th.

June 16th seems to be really popular -- the first two seasons of Lost will be released on Blu-ray that day.

The first season of Blood Ties is scheduled to be released on DVD on June 2nd. (I'd say that it took them long enough, but *looks at Everwood*) The box art is here.

An upcoming episode of CSI will be Battlestar Galactica-heavy: it's set at a con, will feature Ron Moore & a BSG cast member (whose identity is MAJORLY SPOILERY FOR the current season of BSG), & the lab rats will do some reenactments.

First Tricia, now Jamie! I love PETA's advertisting campaigns & this one with Jamie Bamber is no exception. I wish I had a bigger version, but this'll do. XD (Also, I don't often do this but I'm going to ask that if you have anything negative to say about PETA, please take it elsewhere. I don't really want to get into a debate about it, alright? Let's just stare at the pretty & continue believing/supporting what we each want to. :))

The Futon Critic has a first look at Caprica -- it's a very positive review, though it warns Caprica won't be what you're expecting.

Jackie Earle Haley & Chi McBride have joined the cast of Human Target. Awesome! :D

Heroes has lived to see another season. Maybe this is overly optimistic, but the only place to go is up, right? :P

ABC has bought the first-run rights to Impact, a sci-fi miniseries starring David James Elliott, Natasha Henstridge, Steven Culp, & James Cromwell. It sounds awesome: it's 'about humanity's efforts to survive after the moon is hit by a meteor and enters into a collision course with Earth'.

Dakota Fanning has been officially cast in New Moon; she'll be Jane, as was previously rumoured.

The second season of Reaper will be released on DVD shortly after the season is over -- June 2nd! It's weird, but it could be a positive -- if the DVD sells well, we might have better luck getting a renewal. *fingers crossed*

Friday Night Lights is reportedly close to a renewal deal -- it's an all or nothing scenario, two more seasons or no more seasons.

Rebecca Romijin has joined the cast of Eastwick. D: D: D:
