So, yeah, this is very very overdue. I tried to prune the really old stuff, but there are some things that I still wanted to mention -- just to be comprehensive. :)

The first season of True Blood will be released on DVD on May 19th. (Box art & details about the extras.)

Eli Stone's Loretta Devine has joined the cast of Legally Mad.

Sex & the City 2 is in the works for a 2010 release -- SJP, Kristin Davis, Kim Cattrall, & Cynthia Nixon have all signed on.

Crusoe will be released on DVD on May 5th. (Box art.) It's a 'complete series' release; I really must not have been paying attention, I don't think I remember even hearing about it being cancelled. (That doesn't say much -- it's too early in the morning for me to be thinking. :P)

The third season of Friday Night Lights is coming out on DVD on May 19th. (The official press release.)

FX is developing Powers, the comic book series, into a television show.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars has been renewed for a second season.

The box art for the s1 DVD release of Earth: Final Conflict. And here's the press release for it.

Everwood's Chris Pratt has joined the cast of Amy Poehler's Parks & Recreation. (I lost the link in the C&Ping; I'll fix it later. :/)

America's Next Top Model (Cycle 12) will premiere on March 4th.

The United States of Tara has been renewed for a second season.

Noel Fisher will be appearing in at least four episodes of Law & Order: SVU; his first episode will air in April. Fisher played the son on The Riches -- now he's on the other side of the law. :P

And Carol Burnett will be appearing on the March 17th episode of Law & Order: SVU.

Mark Valley has been cast as the lead in an upcoming FOX pilot, Human Target.

Drew Pearce is now adapting No Heroics for ABC.

Alex O'Loughlin will be the featured guest star in an April episode of Criminal Minds.

The BBC is remaking The Day of the Triffids & the cast is amazing -- Eddie Izzard, Vanessa Redgrave, Dougray Scott, Joely Richardson, & Jason Priestley.

On a shallow note, isn't this picture of Eddie also amazing:

Summer Glau will appear as herself on the March 9th episode of The Big Bang Theory.

The casting has been finalised for the Absolutely Fabulous adaptation & ... I think I might approve? Kristen Johnston is Patsy & Crossing Jordan's Kathryn Hahn will play Edina.

Rescue Me has already been renewed for a sixth season (of 18 episodes); the fifth season premieres on April 7th.

Lost in Austen is being turned into a movie. I guess it would be hopeless to count on them retaining Jemima, right? :/

USA has cancelled The Starter Wife.

MAJOR SPOILER ALERT -- someone is leaving Desperate Housewives. The URL will spoil it.

Louise Lombard has been cast in the NCIS spinoff.

The first season of Raising the Bar will be released on DVD on June 2nd.

The Last Templar, the recent NBC miniseries, is scheduled to be released on DVD on May 5th.

Michael Vartan has joined the cast of Time Heals, Jada Pinkett-Smith's new show on TNT.

A&E has given MC Hammer his own reality show, aptly named Hammertime.

The third season of My Boys will premiere on March 31st.

Katharine McPhee will be a guest star on CSI: NY in April.

Kristen Bell will star in the season finale of Party Down in a role written especially for her. Party Down is a new show from Rob Thomas & will premiere on Starz on March 20th.

CBS has ordered 13 episodes of The Bridge, a Canadian production starring Aaron Douglas.

'I, Claudia' has been renamed See Cate Run & Amy Smart has been cast as the lead. Marc Blucas has also joined the cast.

Jenna Elfman is the lead in an upcoming CBS pilot, Accidentally on Purpose.

There is a movie called Pride & Predator in development. I love the summary -- 'the film will mash up Jane Austen-era period melodrama with a sudden alien attack'. XD

And the author of Pride & Prejudice & Zombies mentioned it while talking to Entertainment Weekly about the book.

Eclipse, the third Twilight movie, is scheduled to be released on June 30th of next year. Because of the rush, it looks like Chris Weitz will be unable to direct it.

Jaime Ray Newman has been cast as one of the witches in Eastwick.

Linda Hamilton has confirmed that there are ongoing negotiations regarding her involvement in Terminator Salvation.

Zack Snyder is already talking about the various Watchmen DVD releases. XD At least you'll know to save your money & wait for the version of your choice to be released.

The final & unaired episodes of Pushing Daisies will be shown at the Paley festival. ... that sucks. I wish ABC would just suck it up & air them properly.

This is a casting spoiler for the second upcoming Doctor Who special. :)

The CW's Melrose Place has been given an official pilot order.

Charisma Carpenter will be appearing on CSI later this season.

This is probably ill-placed but I also wanted to mention that Maki (Horikita) has a new drama coming in April! It sounds really interesting; I can't wait to watch it! :D

And now I go to bed. (I'm tagging this when I get up. I'm too tired to do it now.)
