[news] part one of ... who knows *sigh*

Okay, this post is long &* some of the stuff may be old news/repeats. I'm just posting what I've got.

If you love Criminal Minds & bicycling, you should really check out this short interview Shemar Moore did with Bicycling.com.

Spooks has been renewed for an eighth season. (The article does contain major spoilers for the s7 finale.)

Fred Thompson will be guest-starring in an episode of Life on Mars that airs in February. Another reason not to watch the show, I guess. :P

io9 previews the first Farscape comic book; they've got three of the covers & the first 7 pages.

Eric Stoltz has joined the cast of Grey's Anatomy for a three episode arc; the episodes should be airing in January.

I haven't been keeping up with aired episodes of GA, so this may be moot but -- the 'twist' in Izzie's current storyline has been revealed. (It seems like most everybody is hating on this arc, but this might be the thing that motivates me to catch up on the show at some point. I'm shallow, shallow, shallow. :D)

The next cycle of Dancing With the Stars starts on March 9th; it'll be Castle's lead-in on Monday & Cupid's on Tuesday.

Kristen Stewart will play Joan Jett in the upcoming biopic The Runaways.

Craig T. Nelson is doing three episodes of CSI: New York; the article has mild spoilers.

The CW has officially announced their midseason schedule:
Gossip Girl returns on January 5th.
Smallville & Supernatural return on January 15th.
And Reaper returns on March 17th, as I've previously mentioned. :D

And so has NBC:
The Office will have a one-hour Super Bowl special on February 1st.
Chuck airs its 3-D special on February 2nd.
Medium returns with a new season & Heroes starts 'Fugitives' on February 2nd.
Life returns on February 4th.
Knight Rider is likely over for good on February 25th.
ER will air its two-hour series finale on March 12th.
Kings premieres on March 19th.

Californication has been renewed for a third season of 12 episodes.

Lisa Rinna & Harry Hamlin are working on a reality pilot for TV Land. I think that it would be pretty interesting; they seem like a fascinating couple.

I think these stills from X-Men Origins: Wolverine have been floating around for some time now, but :P ♥_♥

Alan Rickman talks about the animation/editing process that Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland is requiring & has a few things to say about the Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows filming schedule.

* I'm actually going to split this update into a couple of posts. I just think keeping it all in one post would literally be TMI. I got really behind. D:
