This week's episode of Dexter will feature a very special guest star. The article contains spoilers for the person's identity.
Tucked into
this CBBC press release is the news that The Sarah Jane Adventures will return 'for a third series in Autumn 2009'.
MSNBC gave True Blood a very good review as the season ended, including their list of 'five good reasons to love the undead'.
Ausiello recently shared some great 'casting scoops'. My favourite tidbits: Michael Trucco is doing an episode of The Big Bang Theory next month & Barry Bostwick will be in a January episode of Supernatural. (But I am so, so disappointed that it won't be a Rocky Horror-themed episode. T_T)
Cobie Smulders is pregnant. No word yet on whether they'll write her pregnancy into How I Met Your Mother or not.
A NCIS spinoff is reportedly in development.
Ari Graynor will be joining the cast of Fringe for a multi-episode arc. The article has small spoilers for her role & storyline.
SFUniverse has a neat Q&A with John Noble regarding Fringe.
Josh Cooke has joined the cast of Lost & Found. For Katee's sake, I hope this show can break his cancellation curse. :/
Crusoe has been moved to Saturdays at 8pm, as of December 6th.
NBC has announced their winter schedule. Highlights:
The third season of Friday Night Lights will finally air on television starting January 16th.
And the only announcement about Life is that it returns in February.
It seems like Boldy Going Nowhere is becoming It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia -- in space! :/
David Hornsby & Artemis Pebdani have both been cast in the pilot.
Microsoft has made a deal with Felicia Day to exclusively distribute the second season of The Guild.
Bryan Singer is working with Warner Premiere to develop a new webseries, H+. The series will be about 'the aftermath of an act of cyber terrorism that kills off a segment of the world population who elected to hardwire their brains to the Internet'. I think I'm interested; they try to compare it to Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, but I think Sanctuary would have been a better comparison.
This TV Guide Q&A has spoilers for a wide range of shows, but I'm linking it primarily because it talks about the fate of Caprica. It may air after the BSG finale or it may not air at all. That's ... worrisome.
While
this Grant Show interview has a lot of neat information about his appearance on Private Practice & what he thinks about the rumoured Melrose Place reboot, my heart is broken over this:
TVGuide.com: Is it safe to say that Swingtown is all swung out?
Show: Yeah, unfortunately. I mean, they haven't released me and they haven't made any official statements yet, but our contracts are all up in December. They'd have to have us back working before then, and I don't think it's possible to do that.
