I think polygamy is so interesting. The good kind, anyway. The bad kind is interesting, but in a...bad way. Wow, I am so articulate tonight. :D

I'm all for polygamy if, like you said, everyone in the relationship is a consenting adult. It'd take some maneuvering, but I think it would be insanely interesting to see in a real world environment.

Sometimes I think that polygamy gets a bad rap because the only exposure most people have to it is through the news stories about the more cult-like group. I think that anything can be 'bad' if taken to the extreme. There are unfortunately quite a few of heterosexual monogamous relationships that are rooted in male dominance & statoury rape, other religions besides Fundamentalist Mormonism engage in child abuse, & anyways I just think it's wrong to condemn an entire movement for the actions for individual members ( ... )
