Hair update: Mum didn't hate it, but she laughed her butt off. Heh. She's promised to help me fix the back of it. :P
General life update: I've been pretty productive offline this weekend, but it's come at the detriment of most of my online activities. Balance, i has none. :/
And, news update!
The World War Z movie might be really, really good. It's being directed by Marc Forster (who just finished up with Quantum of Solace) & the adaptation is written by J. Michael Straczynski (♥). And I totally didn't realise until I read
this article about it that Max Brooks is the son of Mel Brooks. So brilliance is hereditary!
I am going to be as vague about this as possible because I would think it's fairly spoilery. The recent reappearance of a fan favourite on Grey's Anatomy was not a one-time thing.
Ausiello says that there is confirmation of at least 5 episodes featuring said character. And, obviously, the link has spoilers. (... this might be enough to put GA higher up on the 'to watch' list once I finish my Japanese binge.)
This fall season is made of so much fail that it's completely skewing my expectations.
Gary Unmarried got a full season & Worst Week has been given an order for more episodes. I-- I don't even know.
5 Ways that Sandman Changed the World. It's not really news but any excuse to love on Neil Gaiman... ;)
The 16-episode eighth season of Monk that airs this coming summer will be its last.
Medium has gotten an order for 6 more episodes; the season, set to premiere in January, will now have 19 episodes.
'Life' support from NBC; the show currently has support from the network, but for how long?
We created our own Hero & he's a Peruvian soccer player.
Blogcritics takes a look at Heroes: Destiny.
Empire Magazine has a very short interview with Simon Pegg about Paul.
Oh, dear god in fangirl heaven, The Day the Earth Stood Still looks fucking amazing. ♥_♥ I know a lot of people don't like him, but I adore Keanu Reeves & he is awesome in this. Kathy Bates seems pretty kick-ass too, but that's to be expected. (Also in the cast are Jennifer Connelly, Jon Hamm, Kyle Chandler, & the wee Jaden Smith -- yes, that Smith.) You can find the trailer
