Samantha Who has gotten an order for 7 more episodes, which will give it a season of 20 episodes. (It may get an order for additional episodes at a later date or this could be it. It's a toss-up.)
Kath & Kim got its back-nine/a full season order. It's like Bizarro World in tv land nowadays.
'There will be blood: Vampire mania is in the air'. This article looks at, well, 'vampire mania'. True Blood gets a whole section & lots of LJ's favourite shows & books get at least a reference.
ABC News has a look at the real-life vampire subculture. (This isn't really fandom: news exactly, but it came up in a True Blood alert & I thought it was too interesting not to share.)
The PC demo for Tomb Raider: Underworld is available to download here.
Ausiello has details about Mary McDonnell's role on Grey's Anatomy & Mary even answers a few questions about it. (One interesting answer: 'there's always a possibility' that her role could be extended.)
OMFG, a release date!
Dead Like Me: Life After Death will be released on DVD on February 17th. *chair!dances* (Yeah, I'm bummed about Mandy not being involved but we still have Ellen, Callum & Jasmine so it's still worth it for me.)
Jenny McCarthy & Andy Richter will be guest-starring in the same episode of Chuck. Kristin does have a few details about the episode so beware of spoilers. (Also, I so don't get the Jenny hate in the comments... but I'm not going to get into it. Jenny being funny on my tv, yay.)
Heh. I was confident that his 'good guy' streak wouldn't last.
Gary Oldman has been cast as a villain in Book of Eli, an upcoming Denzel Washington movie.
Bradley Whitford has been cast in a new comedy pilot for NBC, Off Duty. It's a cop show (which are a dime a dozen nowadays), but here's hoping that it won't completely suck.
King of the Hill will be ending after the 2009 season, which is its 13th. I love KotH, but I can't be too bummed -- we did get a lot of show. :D
io9 has a short interview with Stephanie Jacobsen. She shares a lot of details (and vague spoilers) about The Sarah Connor Chronicles, talks about working on the original Life on Mars (US) pilot, & confirms something related to Battlestar Galactica (which may or may not be a spoiler, I guess).
In what is definitely not a good sign,
the Pushing Daisies folk have been told to treat 213 as a possible series finale ... just to be safe. D:
