Burn Notice & Psych have each been renewed for another season of 16 episodes.
The Sci Fi Channel is continuing its tradition of producing very 'interesting' original movies, including one that will star Jason Gedrick in a project about 'American soldiers who aren't just battling the Taliban but also a horde of giant carnivorous serpents in the Afghan desert'. (More details about the others are available
here.)
Stargate: the Ark of Truth will be released on Blu-ray on January 13th.
Kristen Bell has joined the cast of the 'computer-animated' Astro Boy movie.
While they're keeping mum about a Middleman renewal (the bastards!),
ABC Family has ordered two new pilots -- one will be an adaptation of 10 Things I Hate About You & the other is a music-related sitcom that involves the Cassidy family (as in Shaun Cassidy).
ABC is developing/remaking V into a new mini/series. It doesn't sound completely hopeless, considering the original production company is involved and it's being written by the co-creator of The 4400.
Lauren Conrad will be a guest star on Greek's midseason finale.
