Industry rumour has it that there will be a Dollhouse preview &/or trailer included on the Firefly Blu-ray release that's dropping in November.
Universal has released the 'rental ready' box art for
Heroes,
House, &
Life. 'Rental ready' art is exactly what it says on the tin: the art that Blockbuster & such will use for each disc. It may also be the art that's included in the set itself, but that hasn't been confirmed.
The New Zealand Herald has
a neat little interview with Jewel Staite, mostly about Stargate Atlantis.
Sanctuary premieres on Sci Fi on October 3rd & the network will be shifting Stargate Atlantis around to accommodate.
I keep thinking that
Buffy the Animated Series would have been perfect. Seriously, it was Nicky, Alyson, & ASH -- and a new Buffy, not SMG! ♥ Ah, what could have been.
Yet another addition to the Heroes cast, though this one has ties to multiple characters & the person's storyline should be veeery interesting. (The article contains the identity & mild spec, so caution if you're avoiding spoilers.)
While details are unclear at the moment,
David Eick says that the remaining Battlestar Galactica episodes will be extra-long/extended.
Band of Brothers is getting the Blu-ray treatement & there will be some interesting extras included, like commentary by the surviving Easy Company veterans.
The first season of Reaper is coming out on DVD November 4th.
The upcoming anniversary 'complete series' release of The Cosby Show will include the original & uncut episodes. I've only ever watched the show in syndication so I'm really intrigued by this.
Zachary Levi of Chuck will be hosting NBC's 'Primetime Preview'. It's a sneak preview of their fall schedule & will be airing next month on various channels in the NBC family (like Sci Fi, Bravo, & USA).
Mo Ryan has low expectations for the US Life on Mars, like the rest of us. :P (And Lisa Bonet has a recurring role! :/ I like her, but not enough to watch this crap.)
Grant Show is guest-starring on an episode of Private Practice this coming season. It's hard to be excited about that when Ausiello goes on to declare Swingtown pretty much dead in the water. :( (And if you would like to know who I think is primarily responsible for that, it's
these motherfucking assholes right here.)
And now I'm off to the grocery store with the fam. I neeeeed Mountain Dew, I've been out for a few days. D: D: I think I'm going to pick up 4 cases -- a case a week should be enough.
