I've gotten behind recently so some of these may be a more than a few days old. Sorry about the delay!
Sci Fi Weekly interviewed John Barrowman. I've seen some of the pieces quoted elsewhere (& linked them individually) but here's the interview as a whole. There are questions about Doctor Who, Torchwood, his autobiography, & his music career.
It's nice to see Eve Myles get some
positive American press; it's usually John who gets the face time when they're talking about Torchwood. (And her family lives in America? Is this another thing that I'm the last to catch on to? *facepalm*)
Eli Stone is already proving to be controversial, and it's not for the reason you might think. (When I first heard about an uproar, I figured it was either over George Michael or the whole brain tumour thing.)
The American Academy of Pediatrics wants ABC to cancel the premiere because of a side plot involving vaccines & autism. Thankfully, ABC is defending the show.
'From buff to 'Buffy': 'Girls with guns and goofy geeks are teaming up to redefine the action hero'. (I haven't read the article but I did notice that some anti-feminist commenter has his knickers in a twist over it... so I figured it might be interesting. :P)
NBC is planning to do away with pilots. I'm not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing; sometimes pilots the network hates do fantastic with audiences, while I see their point about good pilots attached to bad shows. Hmm. (The strike is certainly producing some unforeseen results.)
OK! Magazine interviewed Captain Awesome Ryan McPartlin. Like the character he plays on Chuck, the actor seems incredibly sweet.
ER's Alex Kingston will be on two episodes of Doctor Who this series. There are minor spoilers for the episodes @ the link.
Jason Biggs did
an interview with Rotten Tomatoes about his new movie, Over Her Dead Body. (I've seen the trailer... yeah, no.) RT asked if he still kept in touch with the American Pie cast. He mentions that his girlfriend is friends with Alyson Hannigan so he did see her recently. His girlfriend?
Jenny Mollen, as in Angel's Nina. (This may be something that everyone already knows, but I still thought it was interesting. :P)
Bryan Fuller talks to CBR about Pushing Daisies & various other things, Part II. (I linked the first part of this interview
a few weeks ago.) There is ratings talk, hints about what's to come in the story, whether or not he has a religious agenda, & just a bunch of Bryan being awesome. :D
There will be two Battlestar Galactica specials airing on March 28th: 'Revisited' & 'The Phenomenon'.
You can watch a clip from Ashes to Ashes here. (The sequel to Life on Mars.)
Kristin has
lots of spoilers in her Spoiler Chat this week. Um, if she's right about the Heroes stuff, I may be willing to take back every mean thing I ever said about her. *flails* (I picked the link up from somewhere I can't mention, but ♥ to the source anyways.)
