- Bones. 3x01: The Widow's Son in the Windshield.
This was 'one step forward, three steps back' in terms of Brennan's character development, wasn't it? *sigh* This felt like an early s1 episode, but it was still entertaining. I really like the set-up for this arc (and Jack's paranoia gets to be relevant, that's awesome). - Reaper. 1x01: Pilot.
I'm still in love with it, just like I was when I first watched it. Andi's recast is ... not horrible, but a bit disappointing. Missy Peregrym was great, don't get me wrong, but she seems a lot 'harsher' than the original actress. - Bionic Woman. 1x01: Pilot.
Now this is a show with a horrible recast. :/ The original sister was so much better (and the storyline was much more original). That's the one sore spot for me, but the rest of the episode was great. - CSI. 8x01: Dead Doll.
She's alive! That's fantastic. (Unfortunately Ausiello is putting out rumours that Jorja isn't long for the show, but he's been wrong about this -- and her -- before so I'm not giving up hope just yet.) I have to give the writers credit: this episode was hard to watch, because their misdirection was believable. Half a dozen times, I swore she was dead. I'm interested in seeing how this affects Sara & Grissom's relationship obviously, but I'm also excited about seeing Sara & Nick interact next. (He was crying. Seriously. They can bond over their near-death experiences or something.)
I gave up on watching Dirty Sexy Money before it even started. I don't know, I'm just not in the mood for that kind of show right now.
And, because of how crazy this past week has been, I'm not ready for Stargate Atlantis to start tonight. :( So I'm going to buckle down & get s3 watched before next Friday. Disappointing but workable.
