Fanartists/artists, you should really check this contest out. Sony is having a contest to create a creature for a new game of theirs. It sounds really neat, but I suck at drawing so I thought I'd put it out there for those more talented than me who might be interested. :D
I'm getting pretty burnt-out by this whole LJ mess, but I wanted to link maeglinyedi's post about why Scribblit might not be fandom's next best hope. It's interesting reading.
After spending the past few weeks watching Bones pretty much non-stop, I got a hankering for science fiction again. So I'm watching Stargate Atlantis again. I don't think I'll be caught up by the time s4 starts, but I'm going to give it a try.

It was... interesting. An odd little show that I think has potential.
